Mini
The Mini's soundstage presentation is everything one expects from a very good monitor - even ones well in excess of its price. It's huge, it's spacious, it's airy and it's focused.
The Minis are exceptionally open sounding. Focused, smooth and utterly coherent, they perform on a plateau much higher than one normally assumes of such an inexpensive -- and petite -- speaker..... Read the rest of the review here

Mini +
From about 3 meters on, the Mini+ stages like a demon, with depth so cavernous that it seems to move walls. Macro dynamics are superlative for the breed. Articulation across the band is very high and exacting. Tones have real mass, images true density.”

“This speaker's no joke. Solid to about 55Hz and with attenuated but still useful output to roughly 40Hz, the Mini + had no issues filling my largish space very literally into the deepest farthest corners.” Read the rest of the review here

Ruby

It may surprise you that we have chosen a stand mount speaker for our reference; well, if it surprises you, you obviously have not heard -or at the least heard about- the Mark and Daniel Rubies.”
Moving back to a somewhat more “organic” sound, Norah Jones’ “Come Away With Me” off of the Blue Note CD of the same name, is once again beautifully portrayed by the Rubies, including all of Ms. Jones’ breathy vocal nuances … both tracks honestly sent shivers down my spine, a wonderful emotional response to two touching songs.

Closing your eyes, you would NOT be able to sense the size of these speakers in the least, they are simply that good... Read the rest of the review here

Ruby
The Rubies will play unreasonably loud for their size... It might surprise you to learn however that Ruby's midrange is warmer and fuller.... Bass then is shocking, period.  There's till life at  30Hz, rolled off naturally but sufficiently present to mix in and support a very robust mid bass.  That's simply otherworldly for a speaker this size.  Unbelievable, in fact.

So, this isn't a laid-back but intense speaker.  Intense in a good colorful way, with kick-boxing jump factor and completely counter-intuitive fullness.... In short, Absolutely Perfect for what I wanted... Read the rest of the review here

Sapphire

I'm buying this pair.

Believe it or not, even I get tired of looking at big hulking speakers all the time and I've had my eye out for a while for reference monitor that not only does it all, but is just a lot of fun. The Mark & Daniel Sapphire is exactly that speaker... Read the rest of the review here

Maxiumus Monitor

This small speaker produced prodigious bass. It went deep -- way deep -- with all the abandon of the most adventurous scuba diver. The acoustic double bass, which goes down to the low 40Hz region, was reproduced with appropriate heft and good tonality. Drums were a literal blast: the SX woofers had the punch of a heavyweight boxer. In most setups, the Maximus Monitor won’t require a subwoofer.

But the Maximus wasn’t only a low-frequency hound. I was impressed by its ability to simultaneously relay prodigious amounts of bass and delicate treble... Read the rest of the review here

Apollo II
The Mark & Daniel Apollo IIs are tons-o-fun unique, some of the best speakers I've ever used.

The big Apollo produces a soundstage that you can almost reach out and touch for all its density.  The larger Apollo II throws one of the more solid images I've ever heard,...a smooth yet powerful presentation with solid imaging and superb focus...

The Apollo II's bass is truly extraordinary. The deep bass from these puppies had me chasing down rattles and buzzes I'd never before excited. It was the best bass presentation I've ever heard in my home from a single speaker without a powered subwoofer.

Without a doubt, these belong among the top few speakers I've ever had in my home.... Read the rest of the review here.
